Up and coming rapper G5 The Jett took some time out of his busy schedule to do a quick interview with us to give you guys a little insight about who he is.  Also he has given us the link to his new song that has just hit HotNewHipHop.com today.  Check both out this guys is making some good moves in the industry.

Where are you from originally?
East Oakland, Ca The Bay!

Why did you decide to move from the bay to LA?
The opportunity. The only rappers that made it out the bay, moved from the bay!

When did you first begin rapping?
I started like at 14 in a rap group with two of my friends from high school, we were really in it for the girls back then lol. We made like 6 songs and stopped. Then I started back rapping in 09 and ended up enjoying making music solo and decided I would take it serious.

Who are some of your musical influences?
A lot, my Ipod goes from Too Short to 30 Seconds to Mars. But as far as rappers go Too Short, Tupac, Mac Dre, Jay-Z, Outkast the list could go on and on.

If you could collaborate with any artist and producer of your choice who would it be?
Lil Wayne and Swizz on the beat, can’t go wrong with that combo plus Weezy is one of my favorite rappers.

How did you first hear of TITS Brand?
I seen the Wifey tee back in high school at this boutique in Berkeley, I had to get it.

If you could pick who we put on a shirt next who would it be?
Nicki Minaji. Everybody would want that tee! Oh and Amber Rose, she would be perfect!

Where do you want to ultimately take your career?
I’m trying to be the best that ever did it, the bay area never had that rapper on that Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Kanye west status. I want to be that for my city, I’m only 20, I got time to make it happen.

When did you know you wanted to purse music?
I opened for Snoop in Indiana. After I rocked the stage I got to watch Snoop come out and straight kill it. I was 10 feet away passing blunts, seeing the energy of 10,000 people knowing all the words to all the songs and seeing Snoop performing 187 five feet away from police I knew this was what I wanted to do.

What is your favorite TITS tee?
I been rocking the TITS x Rocksmith collab tee, it’s an attention grabber and females be feeling the model on the shirt. Thats how you can tell who the freaks are lol.

What projects do you have coming up?
My free album, Flight 187, coming out at the end of February and i’m going to put out a lil prelude end of the month to keep everybody happy. I got a couple labels talking to me so maybe I’ll have exclusive news for you guys soon.

What is your favorite song of all times?
Mystikal- Here I Go, Michael Jackson- Remember The Time, Notorious B.I.G- Mo Money Mo Problems

A couple of our staff members thought it would be a good idea to donate some of our tees to homeless people that we see in downtown Seattle. Here is a little video clip of the reactions to those who got some pretty dope tees!
