Originally from Thailand Ms. Lucy moved to Dallas when she was just a kid before moving to Houston just a few years ago, she is 100% Thai and has a sexy look. At 23 years old she has already built up her resume with modeling and doing music, yes she is a singer that does everything from hip hop to pop.

“I love taking pictures and feeling beautiful,” Ms. Lucy explained. “But for me its really all about the music.”

She has been in Street magazine and done a lot of hooks for different songs including one of her newest “Instant Replay” with an artists named HOV. She has also done shows in places like Wherehouse Live and Stereo Live. She had a role in the “Now you see it” video with Z Ro and GT Garza and another one with Snow Tha Product called “Good Girls”. Ms Lucy also took the time out to help host the TITS Breast Cancer event in Houston last October, needless to say she does a little bit of everything.

Remember when you would save all your money during the week to spend it that weekend? I would gather up every dollar, dime, nickel and especially quarters I could find and drop it into a jar that was labeled “Street Fighter”. Why? When the weekend came it was time to hit the arcade or corner store up with my cousin and spend countless hours and even more countless quarters on these machines. Now its 2013 and we have the technology to play all these games at home and play opponents all over the world with the magic of the internet.

I remember being told by my parents that they would “fry my brain” or they were a “waste of time and money” alas today the latter statement is far from the truth. Introducing Texas Showdown 2013, where the number of competitive gaming participants where over 350 and viewers on the stream hit over 15k!!!

What is Texas Showdown? It’s the premiere fighting game tournament in Houston, Texas. Games include: Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter X Tekken, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Mortal Kombat 9 (yes it’s at 9 now), Persona Arena 4, Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and many more. The began on a Friday where pools play to see who can make it out and into the brackets.

Imagine March Madness with fighting games. Then the Finals of the featured games take place on Sunday. Now don’t get it twisted, these matches are intense and the mood during matches is nothing but pure HYPE!!! Guest MC’s were Kevin “Kensou” Turner and me, DJ Tito, who kept the crowd in such frenzy that we had noise complaints from hotel guests (evil grin). Now aside from all the gaming geeks and gamer heads in attendance, there was also some great eye candy of cosplay girls! You can check out the results and details of the tournament here.
